Celebrating the momentous occasion of NTPC Raising Day,2022 and also rejoicing the fact of sportsmanship and team spirit, NTPC Bongaigaon conducted friendly cricket matches at NTPC Bongaigaon. The matches were held between the employees of NTPC and CISF and also between the female of NTPC and CISF Unit of NTPC Bongaigaon. The cricket match was inaugurated by Shri Karunakar Das, CGM, NTPC, Bongaigaon
In the first match, CISF women team batted first and made 58 runs in 10 overs. NTPC Women made 59/2 in 7 overs.

Dr. Nisha Yadav made 31 runs and awarded Player of the match. In the second match, CISF men team batted first and made 62 runs in 14.1 overs. NTPC Men team made 63/5 in 10.3 overs.

Shri Diwakar Mishra awarded Player of the match for his excellent bowling.

The winners were awarded with trophy and prizes. In his felicitation speech, Shri Das appreciated both the teams for their team spirit and togetherness. He underlined the fact the NTPC and CISF are brothers under the organization NTPC and both have displayed their talent equally in the games.
